Dear Parents/Guardians,
I am pleased to announce that we will have our annual Halloween Wonderwalk Parade on Friday, October 31st. Beginning at 8:30 AM, weather permitting, all classes will exit out of the main doors and head right on Vermont Avenue continuing around the building. Parents/Guardians are welcome to stand on the outside of the sidewalk as the students walk by. Please be sure to allow enough room for each class to walk through. Parents/Guardians may walk alongside their child’s class, but please refrain from removing your child from the line. As the students make their way around the building, they will re-enter the school and head back to their classrooms.
Students are welcome to wear their Halloween costume to school on Friday, October 31st. Face paint and masks, however, are a safety concern and will not be allowed in school. Please know that if your child comes to school with a mask or face paint you will be called first thing in the morning, so that the mask and/or paint can be removed.
During the school day on Friday, each class will visit the Pumpkin Patch that the PTA has arranged. Each student will receive a pumpkin that they will bring home that day.
