2025-2026 Summer Rising Admissions Dates: The following is a timeline to help you keep track of all important due dates for the upcoming Summer Rising Admissions process.
- March 3 – Summer Rising application opens!
- March 27 – Summer Rising application closes.
- April 21 – Summer Rising Results.
- May 5 – Acceptance Deadline.

- March 3: Application opens in MySchools
- March 27: Application closes in MySchools
- April 21: Results released.
- May 5: Deadline to accept an offer if you receive one.
- July 1: Summer Rising starts
- July 3: Observed Holiday - No Summer Programming on this day
- August 14: Summer Rising ends for grades K-5
- Summer Rising runs Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM
- Pin Letters: Pin letters will be available in MySchools for your current students. The pin letter will still contain the student’s account creation code and instructions on how families can create a MySchools Account (myschools.nyc).
Help families login to MySchools:
- For families who have already used MySchools, they just need to log in! They can re-set their MySchools password if needed. If a family logs into MySchools and does not see their child’s name on the Dashboard page, that’s okay--they just need their pin letter, and they should follow the instructions there.
- For public school families (including charter) who have never used MySchools before, their personalized pin letter will help them set up their MySchools account and add their child using their unique account creation code. School staff can identify which families do not have an account in MySchools by exporting their student list from their My Current Students page and reviewing the Guardian Account column.
